Sega Complete Pack por 60€ en Steam

Vaya joyita a precio de escándalo han lanzado los chicos de Sega para el servicio Steam, 15 juegos que por separado nos costarían 400€ ahora pueden ser nuestros por tan solo 60€. ¡Un ahorro de 340€! Para quien les interese a comprobar los requisitos mínimos, pagar y descargar. (tampoco os olvidéis que hasta el 24 de Mayo está completamente gratis Portal para Steam)

Si no os interesa el pack completo habrá cada día un juego de oferta.

DEMO Alien VS Predator ya disponible!

Ya está disponible para su descarga la demo de Alien VS Predator en todas sus versiones, PS (descarga desde la store), Xbox 360 (descarga desde el bazar) y Pc (descarga desde STEAM).

Aun no se que posibilidades de juego tendrá, después de probarlo ya os contaré.

EDITADO: después de esperar 15 mintuos a que se conectara al juego (si 15 minutos) conseguí jugar una partida como humano, y la verdad que deja bastante que desear. Sega ha pedido disculpas por la mala calidad de la demo, espero que sea real lo que dicen de “esto no es el juego final”

La “nueva” consola de Sega, Zone

Bueno bueno no es que Sega se atreva a volverse a sacar a la venta una nueva consola para competir con la actual generación de consolas o de la futura.

Ya que Zone es una Megadrive con algunas mejoras, contará con 50 juegos: Unos clásicos como Sonic, Golden Axe o Alex Kidd… mientras que otros estarán creados específicamente para la nueva máquina y que aprovecharán los dos mandos con sensores de movimientos que traerá.

Valdrá unos 50€ y saldrá en Abril.

Podéis ver que pinta de consola no tiene mucho, más bien parece un disco duro…. No creo que venda mucho, pero nunca se sabe.

Alien VS Predator Survivor Mode

Otro modo para Alien VS predator ha sido desvelado con un tremendo y estresante vídeo, este modo llamado “Survivor Mode” no es mas que el clásico y entretenido modo “aguanta todo lo que puedas” véase “horda” en Gears of Wars, “tiroteo” en Halo ODST, “survivor” en Left 4 Dead 2. Pero con una cosa que el resto no tienen (bueno… Left 4 Dead si ) y es el STRESS y el AGOBIO, dos alicientes que harán de este modo toda una experiencia, no hay mas que ver el siguiente vídeo:

No hay cosa que me guste mas que una buena ambientación, y si consiguen el resultado de situarte en un lugar en el que se respiraba paz y tranquilidad pero ahora es un infierno, me gusta mucho mas!

Eso parece que están logrando con la nueva entrega de Alien Vs Predator, no puedo esperar para poder jugar a este juego, tanto en su modo historia como en su modo online.

[Rumor] Filtraciones planes Sega con Sony

Aunque no deja de ser más que un rumor, el tiempo dirá si es verdad o no. Por lo visto Sega ha subido por error en su web información de una reunión del día 6 de Agosto con Sony Computer. En dicha reunión tratan de futuros proyectos conjuntos.

En este documento se comenta la idea de lanzar juegos de Dreamcast en PSN, apuntando que si tienen interes de alguna exclusiva tendrán más apoyo de marketing. Y el catálogo entero de los juegos de PlayStation 2 gracias a un emulador a través de PSN.

Se desvela la fecha de lanzamiento del controlador de movimiento de PlayStation 3 (Wand) situandolo en la primavera de 2010 en Japón. Comentado los posibles juegos que pudieran ver la luz con opción a jugarlos con el controlador , como Virtua Tennis. Estiman vender unos 4-5 millones a nivel mundial.

También hay información sobre futuros lanzamientos de PSP como, Assassin’s Creed II, GTA China Wars,Resident Evil y Little Big Planet.

Como es lógico dicho artículo ya no se encuentra en la red, pero como todo en internet ha estado lo suficiente tiempo para que alguien se diera cuenta de esto, el tiempo dirá si se confirma lo relacionado con este articulo pero se trata de unas filtraciones muy importantes de los planes de Sony y Sega. Hay razones para creer de que se trata de un documento real ya que hablan de la rebaja de precio junto al lanzamiento de PS3 Slim.

Lo que es seguro es que si esto es verdad habrá un empleado de Sega en la cola del paro en estos instantes.

Big announcement back half of year they can’t talk about (potentially price cut of PS3 to reach hardware goals)
SCEA commented on indexing between PS3 and 360 SKUs, should be around 2:1 to garner most favorable treatment.

Motion Controller
Spring 2010 launch (March in JP)

Michael Foster, product evaluator, said AP felt barely RPG. Initial level too challenging for players. “Mass Effect felt more RPG.”
Review notes sent to John Merlino a few weeks prior. After meeting Gerald mentioned AP is a high priority for his team.

Planet 51
Sell in of PS3 SKU – SCEA noted that other movie titles on PS3 had underperformed as well (inc. Transformers) this cycle.
Dyer suggests contacting Susan at Walmart and asking what she wants in the pack to sell this SKU (movie tix etc)
Other possibilities are Hybrid movie disc (BD 25 or 50 with Game and Movie on same disc).

Bayonetta
Collectors edition with Bayonetta Action Figure
Novo recommended launching PSN demo around Xmas based off a Jan 5th Ship date with 2-3 week run out to launch.
3-4 weeks is usually ideal demo timing with fresh content every week leading up to launch (trailers, insider video about PG heritage, video blogs).

Vancouver 2010
HOME, Olympic destination would garner a lot of positive attention from SCEA
Should be doing same with Bayonetta, Marvel etc. Easy to launch in all territories.
HOME merchandizing opportunities (clothes etc).

Sonic Racing
Open to DLC to differentiate PS3 SKU – not ratchet and clank but other characters
maybe characters from Rare or Fable universes

Yakuza
Could put Japanese games directly on PSN for download in a special Japanese Import section (pricing $9.99 to $39.99 for full game).
Might need to localize menus at least with subtitles.
SCEA interested in helping on MKTG side if they can have period of exclusivity.

If we provide a list of DC titles SCEA will let us know which ones they’re interested in having exclusively.
If we give them a long period of exclusivity they’ll give us more marketing support.

PSP Titles
For SKU differentiation it’s best to offer features that are slightly different from PS3 version.
Titles that are coming up on PSP are Assassin’s Creed II, GTA China Wars, Resident Evil, Little Big Planet – all massive franchises.
SCEA has a specific PSP deck which they can send up with their hardware director for a chat.
